Who was to blame for the holocaust?

I feel there is a joint blame for the holocaust but I believe the blame falls heavily on 2 people. Hitler and Himmler, they were the 2 main directors of the whole operation. They brainwashed people, killed people and ruined lives! They organised the camps and the ghettos, there party was racist and the propaganda changed peoples views on an entire religion! Hitlers views sprouted into hate and exploded into mass murder!

Why was the holocaust so significant?

I feel the holocaust was extremely significant because  it was a major time period where innocent people were murdered and they should be remembered. It was also very devastating for the Jewish religion and we should continue to respect their religion by holding memorials for them and also the soldiers that died fighting for them. These soldiers lives were taken protecting and saving thousands and possible millions of lives.
